Neil Affleck gives a pick-perfect performance as Axel Palmer, the heartbroken tough guy with a traumatic secret past that completes the small-town love triangle of My Bloody Valentine as the winner-by-default of Sarah’s affection…until the return of her rogue knight, T.J.! Outside his My Bloody Valentine fame, Neil has made appearances in several notable Canadian horror films, including David Cronenberg’s, Scanners (1981), Visiting Hours (1981) with William Shatner, and the only homicidal telephone film ever made, Bells (1982)! Behind the camera, Neil is also a classical animator well-known for his work on The Simpsons, directing some fan-favorite episodes like Homer and Ned in Vegas and Homer’s run-in with John Goodman and the Hell’s Satan’s Biker Gang!
