Alf Humphreys is best known for his memorable turn as Hanniger mine’s comic relief, Howard Landers, in My Bloody Valentine. A good-natured local boy with a Moosehead-dispensing helmet, Howard’s tasteless pranks about the Valentine’s Day murders eventually tic off a certain masked maniac who takes it personally! Before his days in the mine, Alf launched his career in 1980 as Joe Yates in William Fruet’s early Canadian horror effort, Funeral Home (with MBV alumni Jack Van Evera!) In 1982, Alf went on to make an appearance as Lester in the critically acclaimed, First Blood, with Sylvester Stalone. From there, he made notable stops in Final Destination 2, X-Men 2, Rumble in the Bronx, and a host of celebrated TV classics like The X-Files, The Twilight Zone, and Supernatural. Comes have some laughs with Alf at Bay of Blood this September…just don’t mention the dance!
