Q: Where and when does Bay of Blood, Tampa’s Horror Weekend Take place?
A: Bay of Blood, Tampa’s Horror Weekend takes place on September 23-25, 2016 at the Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore, located at 700 N. Westshore Blvd, Tampa FL 33609.
Q: What are the convention hours?
A: Friday, 5:00pm-10:00pm, Saturday, 11:00am-7:00pm, Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm. 1 Hour Early Admission each day for VIP Pass Holders.
Q: Where can I purchase tickets?
A: You can purchase advance tickets at www.bayofbloodweekend.eventbrite.com or visit the Ticket page of our website. Single Day admission tickets and Weekend Passes will also be sold at the door. VIP Passes are available online only and will be sold until August 31st. VIP Passes are very limited, so please buy yours early. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Q: I am interested in being a vendor/exhibitor at Bay of Blood, Tampa’s Horror Weekend. Where can I apply?

Q: Will there be parking at the event?
A: Yes. The Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore is please to offer FREE PARKING to ALL Bay of Blood attendees for Friday, Saturday & Sunday! Spaces are available in the visitor’s parking lot of the hotel or at the underground parking garage next to the hotel.
Q: Is re-entry allowed?
A: Yes. As long as you are wearing the appropriate wristband for that day, you may re-enter as many times as you like during the convention.
Q: How do I get to the convention?
A: Please see the Hotel page on our website for the exact location and directions.
Q: Are cameras allowed?
A: Yes. We encourage you to take all the pictures you like, however, please use good judgment and be respectful of our celebrity guests and your fellow attendees. If someone does not want their picture taken, don’t take it. Bay of Blood would love to see your convention photos! Please post them to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/tampashorrorweekend or email them directly to firstname.lastname@example.org .
Q: Can I take photos with celebrity guests at their table?
A: Every celebrity guest has their own rules and regulations regarding photos at their table. Most celebrities will happily take a photo with you at their table, but the best advice is to ask the celebrity or their representation directly and they will explain their policy. Please note that their will also be professional Cast Photo Ops available at scheduled times throughout the weekend.
Q: How much do celebrity guests charge for autographs?
A: We make every effort to work with our guests and keep autograph prices at our show as reasonable as possible. Each guest sets their own autograph prices and we may not receive this information in advance. If we do, we will post autograph pricing on our website in the Guests section. Autograph pricing will be available on each celebrities signing table during the convention.
Q: What day and time can I meet my favorite celebrity at Bay of Blood, Tampa’s Horror Weekend?
A: All celebrity guests are scheduled to be in attendance all three days of the convention. Celebrity signing hours end one (1) hour prior to closing each day. Signing hours are Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 11am-6pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm. Most celebrity guests will be available to meet attendees and sign autographs at any time during the celebrity signing hours. If a celebrity cancels their appearance, or is not able to attend all 3 days, we will post this information on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/tampashorrorweekend as well as the Guest page of our website.
Q: Can I wear a costume?
A: Yes! We highly encourage costumes at Bay of Blood and we want to see yours! We only ask that you use good judgment in your choice of costume. Please note that Bay of Blood requires you to make your admission wristband visible at all times to ensure re-entry into the convention. You will also be required to show your face for ID verification upon check-in. A primary concern at Bay of Blood is the safety of our attendees, guests, and hotel staff. Bay of Blood has a strict No Weapons policy, which extends to sharp or dangerous costume accessories. If any costume is deemed to be dangerous or inappropriate by Bay of Blood staff or security, we will ask you to make the necessary adjustments for safety approval. This is rarely an issue, but please keep your costumes safe and fun for everyone!
Q: Are kids allowed?
A: Yes. Bay of Blood is a safe, family-friendly event. Parents are simply asked to use discretion with their children. As a horror convention, we show R-rated movies, you may hear objectionable language, and some costumes may look scary– you know what your children can handle and what they can’t. Children under 10 will be granted free admission and costumes are encouraged!
Q: Do I have to pay for autographs and photo ops or are they included with my admission ticket?
A: All admission tickets will only get you into the event only. You will have to pay for autographs from celebrity guests and photo ops separately.
Q: What does my admission ticket allow me to do at Bay of Blood Weekend?
A: All admission tickets grants you access to the vendor room, celebrity signing room, all Q&A panels, movie screenings, and other special events during regular scheduled convention hours. Only Weekend Pass and VIP Pass holders will be granted admission to our after-hours special event on Saturday night.
Q: What if I purchased a ticket or photo op in advance and can’t attend the show. Can I get a refund?
A: No. All sales are final and non refundable.
Q: Is your event wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes! The Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore is fully wheelchair accessible. If you have any questions or concerns about mobility issues, please ask one of our friendly Bay of Blood staff or hotel representatives and they will be happy to assist you.
